In answer to your question, you will need the fuel tank, pump and fuel lines, engine, engine loom, ecu, clocks and gearbox. A lot of time and a large pocket because you will undoubtedly need new gaskets, washers, seals, oil, coolant, spark plugs, filters etc etc etc
Good luck

thanks for being direct :) its going to be more of a long term project so im okay with the spending money and i.m thinking (i hope im rite) it will be wel worth it if its possible

115bhp versions are bab, dont blame you,

easier option would be finding a PD150 TDI  lump and mapping it, had one and that was pretty rapid, that way you wouldnt need to arse about changine fuel pump, lines etc

I'm a fan of most diesel engines. That's beside the point though.

What I'm getting at is, like the others have said, you will need to replace pretty much everything underneath the bonnet, including fuel lines, tank, pump, filters etc.

If I was in your shoes and the problem is as big as you say it is, then I'd be more inclined to try and pick up a 1.8T (full car) and then swap the bodykit and all the other gubbins over as it will be the easier way to do things.

You'll need to swap clocks, looms, and all that stuff as well.

I think this is a more realistic route, diesel/petrol swaps are always a pain because it's a very different setup, get a tried and tested pd lump and then spend your money on that.

What he said.

There are some really decent diesel engines, even a TDI 130 can be remapped to 170.
If you went for a more powerful diesel engine, you'd probably still have to swap the gearbox and possibly the fuel pump (to keep up with demand) but still much less work than a TDI > Petrol swap.

but im inlove with the car! so im wondering if the 1.8 gti turbo engine with audi tt turbo be worth it and how possible is it? i know the gti turbo engine puts out about 150bhp but im wantin a 200 to 300bhp car so with the tt turbo and ecu re programmed im guessin i can achive this??

I'm not being funny with you, but if this is the case why did you buy a 115hp diesel?
It's like saying you bought a kiddies paddling pool but you are really dissapointed becuase actually you wanted an olympic sized pool.

As almost everyone has said before, buy a faster car to start with. It's not just a case of sticking MOAR power in, you'll have to upgrade almost everything anyway.
