yep , its not the same as it was when i first brought it , but it seems to be like it has been for a few months now

Wonder if you're down on power leccy wise due to some unwanted drain somewhere, have you tested your battery output, ignition off, VS ignition on VS engine running.  Might be worth checking?

not tried it yet but i will do later on today , just abit weird if i take the feed off from the rail it shots the fuel out no problem , even under strain it seems to be pumping loads out.

Yeah the pressure is obviously there from the pump but it sounds like there's something not right in the rail itself, hence why I wondered if the injectors are doing there job properly.  They may look OK when spraying out of the engine but is it enough.........

Might be worth dropping a post in the mk4 section since that's where the engine as come from.  Perhaps another post in the Garage section.  Maybe someone who has suffered similar with theirs can help.  :undecided:

also ive checked teh fuel pressure by putting a guage in the line just before the rail its reading 4 bar and im only using a 3 bar reg ,

s said before it seems you have nailed the problem area at least, just not sure what else to suggest, hence why I think it might be an idea to post in the MK4 section and the garage section.

Meh... I wasn't that helpful, MK1's yes, 20vt motors i'm a bit lost... keep us posted on what you find though.
