It's cylindrical in shape and located below the black plastic ignition lead tray, and yes potentially could affect idle.

it a massive round cylindrical shape thing how does it come off i tried to take it off before but it solid as a rock  :laugh:

Unplug the wiring and it just pulls off from both the rubber breather hose and the rubber plug in the inlet.
