Same engine, although early mk4 GTI 20vT started life as 150bhp and all Cupra R's were the 180.................... I think.

Leons are a minfield, Sport is 150bhp, Cupra is 180bhp and Cupra R is 225bhp (early ones were a little less I believe).

As for fitting to a mk4, no point in building what you can buy, a mk4 1.8t (150bhp) will with mods and a remap make the same power.

So no point in doing the conversion all the 1.8t are the same basic engine with changes to cope with extra power.

Cupra R engine is same as mine, they were either 210 hp or 225, only difference between them is the map on the ECU, engine codes are AMK and BAM, they both map to exactly the same and as i say, they are the same engine so it does not matter which you go for if your gonna remap

Reason the AMK was 210 is because audi wanted the TT to be abit more powerfull than the S3 on its launch, then a while after they did the facelift S3, and seat facelifted the cupra R, its at this point they got the same map as the TT  (225hp)

Normal Cupra was 180 hp which is same as what wayne has in his VRS and also what was in the Annie MK4 golf

Worth noting the AMK / BAM is a much different set up to the rest of the 20vt engines, got the much better K04 for a start, plus a load more stuff i wont bore you with, basically you can get bigger power gains easier but the trade off is the AMK / BAM set ups sell for 2k +
