Actually after paying to have the head reconditioned, buying a fast road cam and new timing belt and tensioner, all for about 10 more horses, I'd probably be spending the same on an ABF setup.  The dashboard is in bits as well.  Bloody tempting...

ABF + wide track, Mk3's are cheap and you can drive it while you prep the Mk2 and send it to the scrappers without its suspension and engine. Ive seen them for under 300 quid on the road. :cool:
