« on: 28 May 2011, 20:30 »
Does anyone know the outter diameter of the turbo inlet on the 150bhp 1.8t? Need to get a reducer to complete my cold air relocation but dont wanna have to take it all off just to measure it and put it back on again, just o have to take it all off again a couple days later :P

Cheers :)

You refer to bore in the title, but the outer dia in the thread.

Think bore is 76mm, but double check its a two min job.

Dont know about the outer dia, guess 84mm if the wall thickness is 3mm.

If its quick job I'll check it out on Tuesday, assumed from its location it would be a pain in the arse. Cheers :)

Ive alway know the bore as the inner dia,
OBD= On Board Diagnostic?

Easy job, just undo the tip jubilee and get a rule in there.

ah no sorry I need the size of the inlet as it goes into the turbo from the metal part not where the silicone piece joins onto it

The end of the metal part in this pic where it would bolt to the turbo
