sub help
« on: 17 April 2011, 17:37 »
just been wiring in my sub and im stuck.

basically, how do i wire it in, i have my posative and neg wired, and ive ran the cables for the audio.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

now were do the cables for the audio actually go, the blue terminal says subwoofer output so obviously the output from there goes to my amp input but were does the amp output go? at first i thought the yellow one but thats for a reversing camera.

also, were would i run the remote wire for my amp from? would it be the same wire that my pc5-90 is connected to?

The Blue wire with the cap on is the sub output - you will prob need a splitter to go between your head unit and the phono cables that then run to the amp

The remote lead will be either a blue wire or a blue and white wire with Remote written on it

Make sure the signal cables and the power cables are running opposite sides so you dont get any interference

will this be coming out of the head unit? or will it be from the car? if its the car, would this be the same cable i connect the pc5-90 signal splitter too?

the remote wire should be on the harness at the back of the head unit
