Yeah you get the 'whooosh' when you dump the throttle, and yeah, I just tied the ignition amp round the induction pipe with no problems

Take airbox and battery out and the pipe is straight forward to fit from there, no cutting or trimming is needed to make it fit (it goes down the side of the battery). The pipe fixes into two places, one fixing point is a mount that was used by the airbox, the other point is a earth point by the battery (make sure you do this properly as if that earth is not on properly it will cause the brake light fault to appear).

The tricky bit is getting the cone filter on, you can do it so may ways:
1) wheel off, arch liner off (found this to be easiest)
2) jack up  and stand, climb underneath and fit (fiddly)
3) Take bumper off (seems long winded, never tried)

Only additional thing is in the airbox is the ignition amplifier, if in any way its disconnected it will not allow the car to start. Most people either cable tie it to the pipe or wrap it around one way or another as its meant to be cool)

Then go out and make some woosh woosh noises...

Additional things to do are take the slot/grill out and cut it out to allow more airflow in as the lower grill/slot is solid. Some people also take the arch lining out and pierce a few holes to maximize cool airflow (which is also done on the SMIC as well).

If you have an AGU you will have an additional pipe on the induction pipe, you can either block it off or put a breather filter on.
