what is 167 rely for
help please
167 is the fuel pump relay, this is supposed to be warm.
If your car is a little spluttery when it cuts out, its likely the Crank sensor. It's a b!tch to change, but it is worth taking out and inspecting at least. When i removed mine all the wires were blended into one and i'm surprised the car even started. Changed for a genuine replacement part and problem solved (£65 and fitted myself). I have a good photo of my f**ked crank sensor here.

No spluttering, just dead. It usually took about 2-10 mins to restart and it would do it every 20 mins or so. After it cuts out and wont start again, can you hear the fuel pump prime (a humming from the rear of the car for around 2 seconds) I changed the ECU relay (number 30) and so far, problem solved. Was £11 from europarts, and I think £20 for genuine. It's a very cheap and easy to switch part to try first. If no fix, just switch back and sell relay online.
Hope this helps
