Converting to electric windows?
« on: 16 February 2011, 15:46 »
It's proably been covered before but i cant find it via the search function before you throw stuff at me.

Car is a 1993 mk3 Golf Driver with manual windows.

Both doors are going to be changed shortly before it's respray and im obviously going to convert to lazy electric windows.

My questions are:

Is it a case of getting the window regs, loom and switches and will it just be plug and play into the back of the mk3 fusebox ive got?
Id rather not retro fit some, which i can do easy as id rather do it using original parts.
Are the looms seperate? Will i have to fanny about with the door sockets?ie pin them either side to make a contact etc.

Cheers

Not sure, Brad (kells) added electric rear windows, might be worth dropping a pm.
