Did wonder as never actually seen one of these engines in the flesh.

In that case, cheap and cheerful fix. Get a uprated one if possible, bit more pricey, but don't go wrong quite so easily.

Alternatively, take it off and give it a damn good clean.

EGR is over £170 from VW  :angry: :cry: :cry:

EGR Delete pipe is what you need :afro:

Or you can have the one that's sat in my shed  :grin: :grin:  Its off my 130 but it may fit the 150  :undecided:



The 130 EGR Will fit the 150.

The EGR delete is starting to do my head in. It makes a horrible noise as you turn the ignition off, kind of like splutters and shudders to a stop.

I got used to it after a while but I'm not sure I could go back to it having been spoilt by the smoothness of the shutdown on the Audi

I'm going to remove the grubbings for the EGR side of the valve and keep the anti splutter on it to save my engine mounts from vibrating to sh!t.
