Aye, gonna take it round some garages on wednesday when im off college and see about some other quotes. I dont usually bother with car repairs, if it needs more than 100 quid of work i usually scrap and replace, but i have to say, im quite fond of this one and really dont want to have to get a new one. at least the work for the next MOT means it wont need done for the one after!

Im just a wee bit confused because i looked over the last few MOT results (using the directgov motoring thingy, and it failed its MOT last year because it needed a lot of welding.

the cousin is upto his neck with his own work unfortunately. i could ask him for a lend of his welder and buy the materials myself, but then i'd probably just end up welding the car to the jack, and then setting fire to it. haha
