you then have the problem of keeping them fuelled to run to there full duty circle, if the fuel system before the injectors isnt up to scratch then you run the risk of using the fuel in the fuel rail more quickly, injectors would still run at same cycle but if not sufficent fuel there then you would get a weak mixture which would cause damage.
before fitting injectors
fit new fuel pump
then injectors and fpr
