Only driver side Speaker working help pls

Hi Guys

I have just got me a VW MK4 1.9 TDI S my first VW...

the car came with a sony cd player installed in it.

i have only tested the CD PLAYER today and only one speaker works???
Any ideas guys....

i have taken the CD player out and tested all 4 speaker with a battery and only one speaker seems to be working???

Check the connections on the speakers.

all sort now speaker wire was fault...lol

I only have front speaker and no rear ones?

I have a Vw GOLF MK4 1999 1.9 S TDI 5 door

how easy is it to wire the rear speaker wires back to the front of the car ?
