agreed alan, my mpg didnt change for general normal driving. if i drive like a granny i get better mpgs but if i thrash it i get worse, so it depends how you drive it. but no one buys a gti to save money on fuel, do they?! if you want to save money then map it but make sure you dont get the turbo to excited!
