You can attach a cd changer to the IDA's apparently, however i think i will take a trip to an audio shop to have a
look at some in the flesh.
Got to get the car back first, went into my mates garage for the mot and has so far had a battery, alternator, cambelt kit,
rear shocks and springs, full service, and an exhaust.  :sick:

Yes, i do feel like ive been bent over a little already but at least it should be a reliable car now, only cost me £375 to start with anyway.

I just brought an alpine cde - 114bti headunit to replace my screen in my mk 4. amazed by the quality. i had an alpine screen unit with seperate dvd player, but i got fed up with it and never used the screen anyway.
Got the new one as wanted ipod connection. sound quailty is the same if not better and ipod / bluetooth work spot on to  :smiley:
its got a few pre outs and good enough spec unless you want amazing sound. id always stick with alpine myself but as said pioneer are good to, depends which you feel better using. had my focal components for years now travel between cars with me :smiley:!
take a look if your still looking for a decent headunit without spending the earth.
