gotta say that the first bit of cash was spent on changing the sound stage as the original headunit is crappola.  The next bit of money went on the decent tyres, which just inspire confidence and enable you to get sooo much more from the original car.

Next to do in the new year is the paintwork, as it needs some minor stone chips sorting and a scratch some tool but on the drivers door sorting, but at the same time I'm gonna smooth and colour code the rear valance much the same as Sambo has...

but i'm leaving the skirts and front splitter grey for now...
Then remap and i might just juse R-Tech for it

Don't change the wheels.  The oem 17" are best for ride, speed and corrosion resistance (and cheaper tyres).
Get a bluefin remap and swap it back to the map supplied with your car when you go in for a service.
Change the headlight bulbs to the nice bright type (about £20).

With the remaining £550 search the dvla numberplate website for a decent number.  I paid £500 for mine and was offered £2000 by reg transfers a year later.

This has spawned many to own up to private registrations over on the Mk6 section.
