Headrest DVD screens and system
« on: 15 December 2009, 14:28 »
Not sure if anyone can help or steer me in the right direction? I'm looking to fit 2 DVD screens into the rear of my MK5 GTi headrests plus fit the DVD ststem to go with them. The headrests are cloth type which i want to retain and the car is fitted with the basic hi-fi. Has anyone had this fitted, if so where and how much did it cost. What type of system did you fit etc etc. Any info would be appreciated.

I had a Veba system fitted into my old MK4 golf (two screens in the front headrest's and a DVD player in the glove box). Cost me £400 supplied and fitted. You can buy the screens for about £170 and the dvd player for about £50 on ebay now.

When i sold the car i took them out myself and simply put the rear headrest's into the front (buyer didn't notice it didn't have rear headrest's).

The next car i bought was a Audi A3 and it cost me £100 to get them fitted from the same place that originally fitted them but wouldn't have them again and left them in when i sold the Audi.
