Mk5 MFD2 ipod options.

Have a Mk5 golf with a MFD2 and 6 CD changer in the arm rest. Was looking to add a connection for my ipod but thought that well I was at might as well add a video input also using the Aux input on the MFD2 so I don't lose the CD changer. Have found this on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110401284657&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT and was wonder if if anybody has fitted this sort of thing and what the results where. Have found a cable that would connect the ipod to this also http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200406896900&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT . I know I will not be able to control the ipod from the MFD2 but don't see this as  a problem as would just set a play list going and that would be it. Any advise would be great. Thanx in advance.
