ah, that looks more like it! might have kept that one i had the dnx9240 removed, and now have an RNS510 which is excellent, fitted to morty at the same time as Am1W's

i hated the kenwoods fit it had two separate surrounding trim pieces.
radio receptions was rubbish, and operating system was pants - but the sat nav was a lot better than the RNS - although the menus were slightly confusing
Just sold an S5 - previously mkV R32 DSG Metallic Grey with RNS 510 (thanks to MortyGT140)

Hi!
Nice to have met.
Bought the manual for the RNS 510 from VW. £12+VAT. Fcuk! Have not read it as yet but need to as I've little or no idea on Sat Nav usage.
Bluetooth excellent but the bloody thing has only loaded the SIM registered tel numbers from my Blackberry. I'll do lots of studying this weekend.
Sound from the RNS at present not as good as the RCD 310 but Darren knows how to sort it out. Great guy.
The GTi is superb and somehow Darren has sorted out the rattles from behind the speedo/rev!
