 i will check the spring on sat, its worth a shot!!! (although i doubt it will be,nothings ever that easy for me..lol plus 99% it feels really good)

 i cant see bugger all outside at the mo,and im out all day 2morrow.

i have not disconnected the slave cylinder yet,if i did,what should i /should not see?????

No spring would be too easy.

Undo the two bolts holding the slave cylinder onto the gearbox casing. Withdraw the slave cylinder and there will be a push rod coming out of the end of the cylinder. If it is leaking you will see brake fluid coming out of the end. There may be a rubber dust cover or not cant remember you may need to look under this to look folr leaking fluid.
