leaking injector?
« on: 30 August 2009, 21:07 »
i've got what looks like a slight oil mark on the inlet manifold under the no.4 injector, is this a sign of the seal needing replacing?

more than likely yes as the sealing ring is more than likely deteriorating allowing the leakage your seeing probably best to replace the four then least you know they are all new and fitted at the same time a little unusual for them to leak afaik

I've had the injectors out when I attempted to fit the twin intercooler kit so one of them might not have seated properly again.

I'll have a search through ETKA later and see if I can find a part number for the AGU and AUM seals (they are probably different)

If not I'm sure there is a number in the seals on there at the mo, will just have to get the magnifying glass out

the seals will probably be different.. the AGU has those awkward bstard injectors that don't fit anything else
