Just for the record, I don't like the twist off thingys either, you get a nice free tax disc holder from your local stealer when you pick the car up, what's wrong with that one? It's free (sort of) and has VW on it, what more could you want?

Well put Exonian

I had a nice one with a no-smoking sign on the back once.

The one the RAC will give you with their phone number on it can come in handy now and again as well....

True - only downside is evertime you look in that corner you see the name of the stealer that screwed you by not giving a discount and will shaft you on the servicing

It's a pity the black GTI ones have sold out. They're best if they dont draw attention to themselves.

If TT jumped in front of a bus you you do that with him ?

No. I dont do buses. Didnt realise I wasnt allowed to voice my opinion on how crap those things look. Sorry Kev - enforcer of all things VW

 It was a joke dude, jees.

So was mine... TT would have some kind of technical answer on how the bus wouldnt kill us anyway

Yeah, its all to do with the warp factor of the time flux, and weather the impact was perpendicular to the azymuth or the zenith . . .  :nerd:

Actually, I've just thought about the 'best' tax disc holders, and they are considerably cheaper than the chav-tastic richbrook ones. . . . .

Shortly, the old solders will be selling poppies - bung a fiver in the pot and get a nice Royal British Legion tax disc holder - plain, understated, and showing that you care about a 'genuine' cause.  They even have a top half to store fuel cards or whatever.
