engine set up

just popped in from the mk2 section as a mate has a mk3 2l 8v that is running rich after a rebuild and i would like to know if there is a tuning guild for his car that i can follow,like the one in the mk2 section.
thanks for any help it will be much appreciated
drive it like u stole it,brake it then mod it

the mk3 doesnt need tuning. The ECU works everything out. If there is a problem, i'd check the sensors posted in the post above

actually it depends on the engine code. if its a 2e it requires setting up exactly the same way as the MK2 8v digi, just you check the CO at the sniffer pipe on the manifold rather than the tailpipe.

The sniffer pipe comes off the exhaust manifold and allows you to test the emissions of the engine before it goes through the catalyst.
