82 oil temp is just warmed up, 92 would be more like it but still a bit cool
edit: though there can be a difference between oil & water temps, but 92 is still a fair bit cooler than i would expect for the fan to kick in

disconnect the plug from the header tank level sensor and bridge the pins, see if that stops it.  if so check the level, if its ok you probably need a new tank. if it doesnt then either the temp sensor is playing up or the dash clocks

OK , Thanks so header tank is where i put water in for cooling system yeah ?

How do i bridge pins - Excuse my ignorance  :embarassed: :embarassed:

If we are talkin same tank it looks pretty new

If i need new temp sensor where is that ??

if it was the clocks ( Have been replaced my low mileage ones by PO ) why would this make engine so hot and smell so hot ??

Sorry for all questions Johnny but i know nothing about engines but feel this is a problem that needs addressing quickly , Thanks ALOT for your help

yeah it is, to bridge the pins pop the plug off and put a bit of wire between the pins, on the plug obv not the header tank ;)
the temp sensor is the black 2 pin one in the flange on the front of the head, the clocks wouldnt make the engine run too hot, however engines do smell a bit when warm especially if say they are coated with oil due to leaky gaskets, or if oil is leaking onto the exhaust manifold :)
