Agreed. Black looks fantastic, but only when it's spotlessly clean, which, as you say, is for about 3 minutes. I have had 3 black cars and even leaving them in the garage didn't offer any solution, as after 3 or 4 days they were covered in dust.

I reckon carbon grey is the best compomise.

Agreed!! the grey one in the showroom looked the doggs.. and the courtesy car i had was grey and never appeared as dirty as black.

Although all the other colours still look sooo tmepting i will probably end up opting for the stealthy black :evil:

Im NEVER buying a black car again, f**king NIGHTMARE to keep clean. I cleaned mine Tuesday night for the Brands Hatch meet, its a state already, not even a week :(

Same here.  Black looks awesome when clean and polished but 5 minutes later and its covered in dust.  Red is the future for me

did the carbon grey one in real life look bluey... as it does on the vw web site?  my dealer only has silver or black.  i must admist i didn't mind the silver one, looked quite smart.

Mk6 Golf GTI 5dr, DBP, Monza Shadow, Xenons, ACC, RCD510, Park Assist, Camera, Lux pack.... and now bluetooth.... and now DSG!
