Bloody sparkplugs

Just got my new pulstar pulse plugs ,adjusted the gap to 0.8 the same as the plugs that came out ,all was good started and run fine went for a drive to try them 10 min later it lost all power must have been runing on 3 cylinders .Took plugs out to see what was wrong they have got well hot and gone blue, got to send them back now ...NOT HAPPY... :angry:
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

are these the £100 plugs .......  that give a bhp increase of around 10bhp...?     
now drivin a golf 1.9 tdi 90bhp ... time to rack up them miles!! as my daily

well tbh matey ive got them on in mine and they are mint starts really quick and can really feel the differance! must be somthing up with your coil pack! :wink:

from what you state there looks like you could have blown a coil-pack(s)  :huh: ideally vag-com it but if your running on 3 cyls then probably as the efficiency of these plugs which create a better spark need healthy coil-packs i would say and by the sounds of it your no3 was weak then its breaking down and failing

yep they really do make a difference the engine seems to run alot smoother and my idel is a little under 1000rpm and not fluxuating! i will tell you in a couple of weeks when i go down my local RR if they make a difference on performace! :grin:

Im getting a refund for the plugs failing ,wont try them again .Iv put the old plugs back in and alls fine . :undecided:
