These any good for car audio
« on: 29 April 2009, 17:19 »
Hi guys.

I can get some of these from work.

http://www.sonnenschein.org/A500.htm
http://www.es-store.co.uk/category-1...212v085ah.html

They're designed for network use, but would they be suitable to use as main battery or battery bank for install?

I'm going to test them tomorrow to see what they float at. Ideally what voltage do I want to see?

Cheers for your help guys.

Would be second battery on a split charge.

I've just got a load of them so a few are up for sale.

They look ok spec wise?

It's alright I've asked a few over on Talkaudio. Will be running 2 in the boot splitcharged as I intent to listen to tunes with engine off.

Got a load of them for sale as well £40.

I was told that split charge systems dont really give any advantage when it comes to car audio.

I'm only split charging as I intend to run the system with the engine off. Otherwise I'd run 3 batts in parralel.
