16v beats 8v.

early ones feel faster to me. Less trinkets, no door bars.

Later ones are easier to convert to non-standard engines.

Just to throw that one into the mix.

For what its worth I'd spend my money on a late model 16v with PAS

You could find a nice straight stock one with that cash or perhaps one thats had loads of subtle but worthwhile mods to engine, suspesion, brakes etc....

I bought mine for a little less than that and have had alot of fun and spent a fair bit of time and money getting it modified :smiley:
