a little project - ps2
« on: 25 March 2009, 14:19 »
been having a think about putting a slim line PS2 in my mk4 golf,

i've got a dvd screen headunit so the audio/visual isn't a problem,

just wondering if anyone has done this - if so where does the ps2 fir nicely? where is the easier place to wire the power in?

any hints or suggestions would be good,

thanks all,

Phil

i was thinking that would be the easiest way to do it and good old ebay have car power supplies for the ps2 i can easily rip apart and use fairly cheap,

any ideas where he got the power in the car from?

I think he used a cig lighter power inverter :/ dont think thats the best way though tbh!

Another mate has his power inverter linked up to the battery

cool, cheers,

i set up a couple of mini neons in a car a while back and found a plug which only powered up
with the ignition so wired it all in there,

yr best off wirering straight to the battery or a permanent live via a relay connected to an ign supply so the ign connects the perm supplys when turned on
