i know that! all my gtis have been somwhere around the bumpstop and all my mates ones are tinkered with too so i dontt know where to start from when kits claim 40mm drop etc, on coilovers at the mo so not a problem yet but they are a bit shafted so ill probly put a fixed height kit on at thte height it is now.
might have to hang around in car parks with a tape measure till a mk2 driver turns up....

when i first got my mk2 gti i measured for the highest point of the plastic arch trim, removed the centre cap from the teardrops and measured down to the lowest point of the cap recess and it was something like 460mm
