I was recently swapping my after market sony headunit with another newer style one.
The unit was working fine, storing radio channels, switching off once the key was removed etc, then I thought I wonder what it looks like in a bit further so I pushed it back and of course it shorted out on the faceplate.
Now I cant get the switched power supply to work, I can hard wire it in so that I manually have to switch it on and off but cant seem to sort of the switched power supply so that when I insert/remove the key the HU switches on/off. I have checked the fuses in the fuse box and saw that I had blown one and have replaced this (tried many different fuses, this is not the problem).
Was wondering if any one else has had this problem or if there are any additional hidden fuses in the dash that need replacing for it to work as it seems strange because if was all working fine before I shorted it...
