best thing for bleed nipple is a 1/4drive socket and rachet alot tighter fit than a spanner and wont split, also if you need to split the flexi to the solid connection and the nut is fooked, saw the brake pipe off lol alot quicker if you then need to save the flexi you can get the socket on the screw left behind  :kiss:
