I think I would be getting prepared to have it resprayed as that stuff ain't gonna come off without a fight.

I fitted my spoiler on in the summer and used some black bonding stuff from my VW dealer (sister in law works there), and it stuck the spoiler as if it was part of the tailgate!

Thanks for the link Ridg.

The bootlid if going to the bodyshop to be fitted so hopefully they might be able to suggest something.
