Yeh you prob right...

Once I do this water trick and a engine flush and oil change if still the same I will then take it down to TSR, atleast that way I know that the car will be running spot on... and they can also check other possible things for me....

Thanks guys....

Today i refitted the rocker cover and top manifold and warmed the car up and did the water trick, I probably used a little less than a pint of water, but cannot notice any difference. I was considering taking the car to TSR but am getting put of the 400miles round trip...

I have come accross AmD Technik - http://www.amdessex.com/about.cfm, their diagnostic charge is £60.00 and then £138.00 for Rolling Road tune, but would just do the rolling road if they figure out the problem first.

I am just wondering whether any1 has heard of them. I am only considering them as they are much closer and easier....

The reason I know my car is no where near the 7.5s mark that it should be. It is very sluggish and more to the fact a friends standard mk2 16V is much quicker off the line and also from any speed.... I am 99% sure I have a fuel delivery problem....

Just need some1 local to help....
