yeah I did everything apart from the welding of the support bar. Took me 3 hours to remove the mk3 dash in the scrapyard seeing as I'd never removed anything in a mk3 before. I just looked for screws and pulled bits off. Took me another 2/3 hours to remove the mk2's dash. then plonk it in and start cutting it down so it fits.
I read 2 articles on it on the net, but both did things in a different way. in the end I did it another way still!
I just got stuck in. It's not perfect yet, but I'm hoping the mk4 cab one, that is exactly the same, but has a different texture to it will be spot on. there's still a gap round where it meets the screen and small holes down the sides where I overcut them. Also the screen blower isn't completely airtight. I plan to fibreglass a section to fix that.
