that std mk3 8v putting out 130bhp at the wheels would then be looking at something like 145bhp at the fly
which would be 30bhp up on std book figure 
hence why i wondering about @fly or @wheel readings
I know it's been answered but thought I'd expand a little.
1) All the figures were first measured at the wheel going up the revs
2)Then they dip the clutch and measure the transmission losses going down the revs.
3)Adjust figures from 1) to allow for figures in 2) and there you go, flywheel figures which are shown on the pretty graph you get.
The guys at AMD were fantastic for taking the time to explain that to me. Before that I thought they just used a default figure which would be a pants way to do it.
