that std mk3 8v putting out 130bhp at the wheels would then be looking at something like 145bhp at the fly

which would be 30bhp up on std book figure :o

hence why i wondering about @fly or @wheel readings

they were all at the fly. the 16v was down on power because of dodgy timing, gonna sort it 2mora, and do cam chain and tappets as well

I took this photo at amd, I like it because it shows my three favorite styles:

Custom - My Mk2
Euro - slammed Mk2 (thanks to Top for reminding me who it belonged to)
Sleeper - SIIEPs Mk4

(dnno how to show the image, i cant get the properties or the addy of the actualy image, JV if you can change it for me mate it would be a great help ;))

Ahhh! i like his car a lot, It almost inspirted me to rip off all my stickers when my G60 arches and skirts arive and buy a de-badged gtill ;) But instead my insurance paid me and tomorrow im buying jetta lights of fraiser lol, Onwards with my odd looking Mk2!  :P  (hey! it least i never loose it in car parks, I just stand on somthing and look for a big OZ Racing banner  ;D

I know it's been answered but thought I'd expand a little.

1) All the figures were first measured at the wheel going up the revs
2)Then they dip the clutch and measure the transmission losses going down the revs.
3)Adjust figures from 1) to allow for figures in 2) and there you go, flywheel figures which are shown on the pretty graph you get.

The guys at AMD were fantastic for taking the time to explain that to me. Before that I thought they just used a default figure which would be a pants way to do it.
