Cheers Phil!! I will certainly sleep easy now  (i know your secretly happy.. it just means there is one less car on the road that can show your Ed30 up )

Took a few pictures before hand in so I know the mileage.. the place is huge so they look like they have about 100 cars to get through so no drinking coffee on mine hopefully. Ordered parts should be in tomorrow.. fixed by next Friday but im not holding my breath.

tbh I dont dare look at the car as I walk away... i think someone might see me looking, and think that I am actually admiring it. So I have not looked at the badge on the front or the back. Just this little clock on the dashboard which reads "Cadillac". So thats what I am assuming for now....

.. Until its safe to look out of the window and see if I can make out any clues

I wonder what the fella who bumped your car thought when he saw the repair cost to yours. Didn't he offer you a few quid to fix it.

Well a whole month after my car was hit by some w4nker in a car park.. today it goes in for repair. I think I am looking at a whole 2 weeks without my car

Anyone had any experience with VW Huddersfield for bodywork??

Also not really looking forward to driving a Ka or whatever crap they give me (enterprise rentals that is). Have tried to get them to give me something bigger but I seem to be facing an uphill battle as they (enterprise) want the liable persons details, something that I dont have after giving them to my insurance company. Seems a bit silly how they wont call my insurance and ask for them.. ??? This seems the only way for them to give me a bigger car :undecided:

Now then,

I took my gti into Vw Huddersfield after some gloit ramming me on purpose in 2006, he did £1200 of damage, wrecken the monza rear and made a total mess really!

Anyway I had a similar thing with the courtest car as was give a VW fox for a week!! Joy!!

They did a really bad job of the rear bumper as they heated back into shape instead of replacing it, which a month later hadnt maintained its shape, but they replaced the alloy and the paint owrk was sweet so you should be fine.

Maybe some of the sales team may help out in the body shop as its not as if people are gonna be coming in to buy cars lol

Cant understand why no vw courtesy car with r alex on the side, surely free adverts, enterprise must be paying them a right whack

Cheers TC!!   Feel slightly better now... well atleast enough to not have to sleep in the empty garage

I will be calling VW Hudds everyday to make sure they know it had better be in tip top shape when I pick it up!
