True power ratings....
« on: 23 September 2008, 12:33 »
How do I convert "peak power" watts into something I understand. ie RMS

I see a lot of speakers for sale (6x4's) but know that they advertise what I see as a fake wattage.

Is there a simple way eg 200W peak power = 50w RMS??

good speakers will always list the rms value!

caraudiodirect.co.uk are usually good at listing the full spec :)
