definitly put a new gasket on, old one will leak if you reuse it.  there is a metal tin plate between engine andf gearbox, if you're lucky the lower part will be seperate and come off after removing 2 or 3 screws holding it to the bell housing./  if you're unlucky it will be an early one which is 1 piece, making it bloody hard to get to the bolts between the engine & box!  as it is you'll need a thin extension and a wobble joint to get to them.  I'd start with the bolts here before you do any others, if you cant get em undone you dont want to have already loosened all the rest  :grin:

the end of the extention kinda has a bit cut out of it, so when you click the socket on it can wobble!
