sounds like i could be doing it myself, would be a great experience, but would need guidance as i have never done anything like this before. Reading haynes, says you need to lift engine out and lower transmission out!

Where can you grab alignment tool, should gsf sell them? thats probs where im gunna buy the clutch. I wil defo do it myself if i can get a clutch for £60ish, saves me £140, which aint bad!

When should i replace the clutch? It aint slipping as such yet, but it feels like it could start soon. Bite is higher than usual i would say.

might have a fair bit left on it yet but if you feel like doing it to get it over and done with while you can afford it and have the time.... no harm in that.  you dont need to lift the engine out,  just drop the box.    If you need a hand doing it let me know.  can get it done in an afternoon between two of us

well i will check prices of clutch kits from gsf tomorrow.

a helping help would be awesome! I reckon i would learn a lot from doing this sort of thing.
