I think the 16v is a big higher but not twice, after all it's only double the valves not bore size

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

understand what ur saying, ive been told its something like 2.5 bar higher or something...
i need more fuel at higher revs and i have a digi 8v and was told to replace fuel pump to 16v one and get a rallye pressure reg...

think the pumps abt 6bar pressure
and pressure regs abt 3???

does this sound right??
also what pressures are standard 1.8 v pressures??

no need to change the pump, the digi one will supply more than enough.  just the FPR on its own will work, either that or just fit bigger injectors.

if you wanted a k-jet pump, you'll also have to swap the under car fuel lines and find some k-jet engine metering head fuel lines to cut the threaded fittings out of.
