Inner CV Gaiter Question
«
on:

My Drivers side inner CV gaiter is split and I have the mot in a week.... My question is do I need to drain the gearbox oil to pull the drive shaft from the gearbox to change it ??
I have done outer cv gaiters before but never the inner one.. Is it a pain in the arse or not too bad

They unbolt with the 8 hex bolts on these, there is no need to drain the fluid.

A 12point spline is what you will need. Or at least it is on my vr6.
