Stock ECU on a 1.8t mk2 swap?
« on: 24 April 2008, 21:16 »
Before i start i have used search but havnt found what i need to know so if you have a link then paste it in for me, thanks

So another question how much work needs to be done to the donor 1.8t ecu and loom for it to work on the mk2 im swappin it into? I have to defeat the immobiliser i know but can the loom be modified in such a way that it will work?
The reason i want to do this is because if im getting a complete donor car it will keep budget down to use as much as possible rather than throwing it away?

thanks in advance
