fk shocks and springs, will theese fit???

so whats different to the late? I bought those group buy coilovers from the mk2 forum. lol

when fitting coilover its no problem....its the front spring plates that differ as later models uses smaller sized front springs.

mike mines got the same front suspension as yours and they will fit fine as you ditch the spring plates with the coilies...... my last 1994 golf which had a brand new lowering kit and it wouldnt fit this one

several hundred kilo's and softer o.e spring rates spring to mind (ok sad pun not intended).... remember the 90's were yuppie heaven and they didnt want to get bad backs!

But how can they be different spring rates if they fit both?

quality kits have different listings for both and different spring rates..
it's the cheaper kits that have 1 kit fits all. thats why my mk2 coilovers should be ok as the rates are designed for a light mk2.
