texture spray comes in aerosol and was about£8 a can compared to buying new bumper modifying and having it resprayed
have a search for smart repairs and read up a bit or have a go balls it up and it only costs about £8

this what you mean ?   http://www.smartwise.com/shop_factory_colm/enter.html

thats the sort of thing but the link only put headings up when clicking on a section
you could also look on yell.com for auto paint suppliers in your area as they should stock texture aerosols

just take your time if you do it also stand can in hot water for a few minutes and give it a good shake as texture is thicker than paint
good luck

I'll take my time, i'm ok ish with an aerosol and preperation..  plus I can do it indoors at the moment cause my kitchens stripped for decorating !!!   I cant imagine it being perfect but it sounds a good temporary solution until I talk her into buying a standard tailgate, or source another bumper !!

main part is preporation also if texture feels a bit rough when done give it a very light sand with fine paper before you matt black it
