This cant be normal can it?
« on: 15 February 2008, 19:14 »
I took my engine breather pipe off today and once again it will packed FULL of Yellow gunge!!!  and i mean PACKED!  I dont see how so much moisture gets into my engine,  i NEVER loose coolent and im sure the head gasket is fine,   Why does it collect here?  It lines the intake pipes back into the throttle body!

Shall i just keep cleaning it out?  I think thats why i loose economy somtimes,  Mine is a 1.4L engine and they like to breath to run efficently.

mayo doesn't really burn off, its just gunge, just blow it out every now and then, you'll be fine

Might be, but clean out your throttle body as well, mine lost power on the M42 today, also, wouldn't idle above 600 rpm, cleaned the throttle body, and she runs like a new 'un again....kind of!
