.... hey guys, in the process of customising my pipework and replacing bits and bobs on the 1.8T!!
anybody know the exact diameter of the metal boost pipe that sits at the rear of the engine(where DV flange is)?

seems a bit small...... that means itll be only 50mm diameter..... mmmm you possibly could be correct actually, coz alot of aftermarket boost pipes are about 60mm.....

yeh i got 58mm too! but ive got a problem now....... if i make the pipe out of stainless, ive got 2 weld the 2 flanges on it for the DV and intake..... uh oh! so possibly may need 2 rethink strategy!!!!
