DUDE, am after the same thing.....its cus we have the older model sony units wiv the cd changer unilink inputs which consists of having to use both phonos alongside the round DIN unilink DIN cable.

wiv this item ur looking at...PC7-100...it plugs into the big round unilink plug and them sits loose after that...its just a block...n that mimics a CD changer to confuse the head unit.

Then from that point on..the phono input can then be used as ur average line in
where u can get a twin phono to 3.5mm headphone jack to plug into ur ipod.

HOWEVER, if you want to use your ipod, why dont you just get the sony unlink ipod adaptor instead...that way u can interface your ipod wiv the sony headunit so that you can control your ipod from the head unit.

I'm only tryin to get this produce as i am in the process of doing a sony PSP installation in mine.

Why pay big bucks when you can do it yourself???
